Audra | Mesa, Arizona

Formed in 1991 by brothers Bret & Bart Helm, Audra broke out onto the national scene in 2000 when they signed with indie label Projekt Records. They have since released 3 full-length albums (2 via Projekt) with the fourth LP coming in 2019.

Audra is currently preparing the release of their first album in 10 years - with a street date coming Late Summer 2019. The new album will feature a guest appearance from Lycia's Mike Vanportfleet. The band launched a successful Indiegogo Campaign in October / November 2018 to assist in the funding of the Vinyl & CD manufacturing costs. You can read more about it - and backstories on the new songs - on the News page.

Over the last 25+ years, Audra has toured & performed alongside the likes of The Mission UK, Peter Murphy (of Bauhaus), AFI, Johnette Napolitano (of Concrete Blonde), Nitzer Ebb, She Wants Revenge, Gene Loves Jezebel, Lycia, Steve Roach, The Wonderstuff, Esben and the Witch, New Model Army and many others.

Singer Bret Helm is also known for his music blog - Life on this Planet - named after a song from Everything Changes. He's also a current member of Unto Ashes and an alumni of Black Tape for a Blue Girl.
